NICOLA SAMMARCO

BIO
Nicola Sammarco, director, storyboard artist and comics author. He started his career directly with Disney Company Italy, as layout artist for comics, he did the layouts for the graphic novel of Finding Dory by Pixar, published by Panini Editore.
He worked as a story artist on the "Grinch" (Illumination), for The SPA Studios on "Klaus" and for Aardman studios on "lost in Iterland" by Google. Always as story artist he wokerd on "The Inventor" a stop motion feature film by Jim Capobianco. He worked as story artist for Skydance Los Angeles on a new unannouced feature film and as writer and director of the teaser for the feature film "L'Atleta" (in development) by 10D film. He worked as story artist on the feature film "Sneaks" (House of Cool) directed by Rob Edwards (writer of The Princess and the Frog and Treasure Planet).
He founded Nasse Animation Studio, with which he's producing and directing the animated preschool series "Nicopò", the first 100% ecological tv show in the world. As Sr. Story arist he was involved in the 2023 on “David” produced by Sunrise Productions and on “Light of the World” produced by Epipheo and Directed by Tom Bancroft and John Schafer. Actually he's working also on his first comics series "Muran" for the french publisher Glenat Editions.
